Assessment: Assess for Potential

How do you know if you are a church planter?  There is not a magical test that answers that question, however, the EFCA uses a series of eight self-assessment tests that helps you objectively evaluate your potential as a future church planter.

 These instruments are industry standard evaluation tests that have been used by thousands, in some cases, millions of people.  These are web-based instruments.  Simply click on the name of the report to go to that web site.  Most of these instruments come with very helpful self-interpretative reports.  Keep an electronic copy of these reports on file.  If you choose to go to the next step in assessment, most districts will ask you for a copy of them.

 All of the instruments together will cost you a little under $200 and will take two-four hours to complete.  Since this is the most important decision you will make in ministry, it is well worth the investment.  Let’s get started.
