Day 5: Six Critical Startup Ministries

The Boot Camp curriculum is for use by registered EFCA Boot Camp participants only.

Ministry Development

Developing Your Ministry Systems

The day finally arrives when the planter is ready to publically launch his new church.  The planter has six to twelve months to develop the critical mass to ensure a healthy public launch. When a church radically loves God and people (Mt. 22: 37-40) it creates an authentic worshipping community where growth naturally takes place (Mk. 4:28). In most church plants, there are critical startup ministries that need to be in place to ensure a healthy launch that will carry momentum beyond the grand opening.  These startup ministries are worship, assimilation, technology, children’s ministry, intentional living, realistic timeline, and a system of creating change that allows health, growth, and reproduction to naturally happen.
