Step One: Self Assessment

Please keep copies of the results of these tests. They are not automatically sent to the EFCA.

We have bundled the first three instruments to get a special 25% discount.   They are also the foundational instruments you need to take to  see if you have the hard wiring to be an effective church planter.

1. MBTI: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

MBTI is taken by 2.5 million people annually. It will take you about 25 minutes and you will receive a 10 page report that covers your type clarity, work style & preference, communication style, type preference and problem solving approach.

2. CPI 260

CPI 260 is based upon the California Psychological Inventory which has a 50 year exceptional history, validity, and reliability.  You will be compared to a base line of 5,600 managers and executives.  It will take you 25 minutes and you will receive a 17 page report that covers 18 leadership characteristics.  These characteristics are organized into five core performance: self management, team building and teamwork, organizational capabilities, problem solving, and sustaining the vision.

3. DiSC

DiSC is taken by several million people annually.   This instrument measures four behavioral orientations.  It will take you 20 minutes and  you will receive a 23 page report that covers your DiSC graph, highest dimension, intensity index,  profile pattern, motivation, work habits, and growth insights.

4. Strength Finder 2.0: $17

Strengths Finder is an assessment tool of 34 strengths develop by the Gallup organization after 40 years of research.  You have to purchase the book, Strengths Based Leadership.  In the book, you will receive a code for the on line assessment.  It will take you 20 minutes and you will receive a 12 page report that covers your top five strengths and action ideas for developing these strengths.  The book gives you additional insights into how to develop your strengths, maximize your team, and understand why people follow.

5. Couple Checkup: $29

Couple Checkup is based upon the industry standard Prepare-Enrich marriage assessment that has been used for the past 40 years.  Twenty areas of a marriage relationship are measured.  It will take you and your spouse 20 minutes and you will receive an 18 page report that covers key relationship areas, special areas, couple and family maps, and SCOPE personality scales.

6. Emotional Intelligence Appraisal: $40

Emotional intelligence is one of the most important skills we possess. It is more important for job performance than IQ, experience, or technical ability. Studies across industries show that EQ predicts job performance 2 to 1 over any other skill.  It will take you 10 minutes and you get a 30 page report that covers self awareness, self management, social awareness, and relationship management.

7. Risk Factors Analysis: Free

Risk Factors Analysis is a simple tool that measures risk factors like funding, cultural experience, ministry partners, pre-existing contacts, family support, geographical roots, supportive churches, and ministry success.

8. APEST: $10

APEST is a ministry assessment based upon Ephesians 4.  It will take you 10 minutes and you will get a five page that indicate your leadership strengths in the areas of apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd, and teacher.
